Easiest Way to Automate presets?

I've been playing around with Gross Beat ever since I picked it up earlier this week, fun stuff :)

My big question is this: is there any easy way to use automation to select which beat/gate is selected, such as with the piano roll or something easy like that? I really want to use it for my reeses and dubsteppy basslines without putting a bunch of plugins on my mixer
