deckadance skipping/glitching/lagging

Hi I have a problem with Deckadance glitching periodically. It seems to happen every few minutes, the music will just sort of hiccup for a second or two and then continue. This is obviously not good for mixes and whatnot but especially so as I have my rig connected up with an external sampler/looper, running in sync with whatever track/loops i have playing in deckadance. when deckadance lags it throws the whole thing out of whack and I have to recoordinate the mix, this is not acceptable for making mixes or performance, what can I do to get smooth behaviour out of the software?

I am running windows 8, core i7 processor, asus z77 motherboard with 16 gigs of ram and a solid state hard drive, so i really doubt it is my hardware. on task manager both the computer performance and Ram usage are quite low so I am assuming it is a problem with deckadance. also I have ASIO drivers and I have no other programs running, I even disconnect from the internet so there are no background services happening. I am not really doing anything complex, the problem seems to happen even just playing through one song on one deck, but also when looping multiple decks. I have just installed the newest update for deckadance to see if that would fix it but the problem is still there. Also I recently got the CMD 4a could this be an issue at all?

Please help I am trying to make mixes but they keep getting wrecked by the lag. I also have performances coming up I would like to have this issue resolved for.
