GrossBeat responsivity error

Monday, I bought an Arturia BeatStep, and am really enjoying using it in my DJ setup! Previously it was just my keyboard that I bought for production, but realized I could use its MIDI capabilities to learn to DJ. So this was a big addition! I am now finally able to learn how to use the FX, Hot Cues, and GrossBeat in DeckaDance. Loving it!

However, now that I'm using GrossBeat, it has become apparent that the GB pads are really hard to time. If I trigger a pad, it will not start until the beat after I trigger it. This presents two problems: 1) It's difficult, not to mention unnatural, to remember to trigger pads on the beat before I want them, so I can't really use them on the fly, and 2) I cannot repeat the same pad twice. If I want to just loop a pad, I should be able to just trigger it over and over. But if I trigger it when the cycle ends, it waits a beat before doing it again. If I try to trigger it on the last beat of the cycle, it turns off the pad.

I would much prefer GrossBeat to just start on the nearest beat to my trigger.

Thanks,

-Dr. G
