Beatmatching issues.

Hi everyone. Maybe I'm doing something wwrong.

I have two songs and I try to start looping the other one so that it can be in sync by the time I fade it in... but for some reason it won't stay in time. I'll try using the tap to sync it but it doesn't work too well. I'm using the tap on the decks as apposed to the master tempo tap. Should I use that instea?

I don't have a monitor source, so I'm kind of guessing at things. It's just a test mix so it's not big deal right now as I plan on getting a headphones set up soon.

But I have to get the beats t sync fast because some songs are really short (about a minute) and when I hit loop, it doesn't loop correctly. I can't see what I'm doing wrong... hiting sync makes the song jump beats... I don't want to hit sync on the current dack that is playing because it'll make the song skip. I can hit sync on the deck I'm about to cue up, but I often find myself spending too much time on trying to get it to stay in time. I wish I could just load it, sync it quickly, hit loop and just leave it alone so I can worry about other things like a nice transition.

Any suggestions? Is there something I should do to the songs in advance?

I know about the lead in and lead outs so I can add some other drums before hand in the actual track before I pull it into Deckadance.

Thanks in advance.
