I can confirm that, just came back from a gig and had two crashes (thankfully I had some vinyls also). The stability of the program itself (It still BSODs after specific songs)
I tried with my other machine and could make DD to crash (is another computer and another interface)
But after getting the crash I couldn't replicate it again no matter how hard I tried.
Basically the problem is:
1) You're mixing peacefully
2) You drop the next song into a deck
3) Got no waveform, the display says "Scanning" forever. At this point the GUI still works.
4) Drop another song into the same deck, GUI is immediately frozen, sound and MIDI still works.
Now, since I couldn't replicate it here anymore I suspected the old beatmark files could be causing this so I deleted all of them and tried scanning my songs again. but no crash.
Question is:
Can an old beatmark from an older DD version already residing in the folder cause this new version to crash?
I cannot test that anymore as I deleted/regenerated all my beatmarks with the new version.
I'm still going to try with the original machine I used in the gig.
