Musiclab Real 8 vst midi input?

Hi, I just bought the Musiclab real 8 vst, but I can't get it to accept my midi input. My signal chain looks like this:
guitar --> Axe-fx II --> Jam origins midi guitar 2 --> FL Studio --> Real 8 vst.

I've tried with both midi guitar 2 and real 8 as standalones but I can't get them to connect.
Does anyone have any experience with midi input on the real 8?
