FL Studio Pencil Tool Glitch?

I don't know 100% if this is a glitch but I definitely find it annoying. I remember it never used to react this way in earlier versions of FL, unfortunately I cannot remember which version.

When you draw a note in a cell with the FL Studio Pencil Tool, it draws the note in an undesired location in the cell.

Can anyone confirm this on their end as well? I'm pretty sure it's not just the beta versions.
