Mouse scroll wheel malfunctions in FL, works fine in browser

Often I will scroll thru mixer inserts in FL and it will keep scrolling after I've stopped. Same when I move mixer faders sometimes with it, the mixer fader just shoots up or down all the way. I fix it if I go to a web browser and scroll up and down. But this is massively frustrating when it messes up the order of my mixer insert chain sometimes. I know it's not a faulty mouse because I requested a new one sent to me. It's the Logitech M570. It's been happening for the last few months but today it's happening a lot more often.
