Menu Buttons dont work.

Everytime I click something in the file menu, it doesn't work, ive tried waiting and still nothing, tried running the program in administrator mode. restarting the computer. nothing works. for example. I will click, file, and then save as, and then nothing will happen, nothing pops up after that. what's even worse is when im trying to export ill click file, export, and then mp3, and nothing happens, I even tried clicking the render as audio file button and still nothing happened. I really need help with this, I can work in the program. but its annoying that these simple things don't work.
