Drag and Drop Midi Issue

I am having extreme difficulty with what should be a simple task. What I would like to do is drag and drop midi files onto a single channel in the piano roll without the midi files overwriting eachother. For example, I have premade midi files that play different chords. Midi File 1: C Major, Midi File 2: D Minor, Midi File 3: G Major. All i want to do is drag and drop them into the piano roll one after the other so they will play a complete chord progression. I want to be able to drag and drop to Bar 1 a certain midi file, then I would like to drag and drop to bar 2 a different midi file. Right now the midi files only show up on bar 1 and the previous existing midi data is erased. How do I do this in fl studio?
