Tweaking parameters,tune stops when trying to change things

I was wondering if anybody could help me out with this problem as I'm sure it's something simple. When using abl2 or any synth I'm unable to tweak the cutoff or tweak anything when it's playing the pattern. The tune or pattern just stops when I try and tweak something. This never used to happen. It's the same if I come out of FL studio to quickly check another page out, the music just stops playing. Is this an FL problem or maybe a software problem? Windows 7 etc... Any help on sorting this would be great cheers as it's driving me mad.

Is this a bridged plugin (64bit plugin in FL 32...
