FL 12 repeatedly losing connection with plugins

FL 12 is looking great and I'm enjoying playing around with it but even after I have added my plugins to the plugin database it is not recalling them next time I load projects and asks me to reload them, after which, the settings I had programmed for that plugin are lost. What gives?
