VST problems

Hello I have used FL for about 6 years now. I just recently upgraded to 12 and at first had no problems with it until this afternoon. I created a new project and tried to load my all of my 3rd party vst's into a channel and for some reason they keep showing up as sampler. They fully upload with capability to change sounds and everything but no sound comes out of the channel because it's not recognizing it as a vst. It just recognizes it as the sampler ...I have never had this happen to me in the past and normally I understand how to fix my problems but this one stumped me! Help!!!!!
