oxygen 61 Knobs not updating interface when linked

I have an Oxygen 61 USB Midi controller. When I link a common circular knob (like in fruity compressor, reverb, etc

), the linking works correctly behind the scenes (it changes values to my ears), but it doesn't change in the UI, which makes it almost unusable... I think I can rule out the controller, because it works fine when linking via "last tweaked" in Massive and other non-Fl VSts. How do I correct this?
