Memory Usage Changes After Windows Updates Are Installed Windows 7 Professional 64bits

So this is something I've notice a long time ago. Every time I decide to download and install the updates to my computer the initial memory usage gets higher. If I compare the memory usage without the updates and after the updates I'm looking at initial memory usage of 197 before and 223 to 226 after the updates. Not that is something critical to my everyday use of FL Studio but the change is there. Is there a reason why this is happening? my setup is a Lenovo Desktop with an i5 intel quad core 3.2ghz processor, 16gb of ram and a 2tb hdd.
