HELP! Dragging and Dropping audio file into FL Studio 12

For some reason I can't drag and drop mp3 or wav files into fl studio. I do not run it in administrator mode and I have tried using Windows Media Player, VLC, and Music Bee. Ive tried dragging it into Eddison and into an audio clip. When I try to open an mp3 or wav file into an audio clip I go to my Music open it up, open Artist and Album but there are no songs to import. I have the Producer edition. Why cant Import music samples into my project???
