midi notes not playing but instrument works
I am trying to load a song for example Sailor Moon opening midi and I load track 2 to an instrument. Some instruments will play the notes but I have Komplete 11 Ultimate and I am trying to load a trumpet from discovery series Cuba. Its just one instrument but it gets the point across. The midi notes do not play but it shows that the notes are being triggered. However it will play with for example something from massive. I know that the instrument has the tonal note range required for the midi song because I can add in notes identical to the ones that exist and they will play. So the problem is some instruments will not play midi notes but I can add a note into the piano roll and it will play. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? It actually has happened on many more instruments than this but I am just giving an example. The notes that I add compared to the notes from the midi file are different colors some times. The notes I add are a mint green while the notes from the midi are a teal.
