FL Studio external synth issue

Hi guys

I'm using an external synth with FL for the 1st time.

I got a behringer deepmind12 connected to a Motu ultra-lite mk4 on the back analog 1 and 2 inputs of the interface.

I figured out how to play notes and control the synth from the midi out plugin. Now what I need to do is to figure out how to add effects to it from my VST library.

Obviously I can't do it from the midi out (as it seems that I can't route it to the mixer).

And if i route the analog inputs to a certain channel to the mixer then the sound is doubled since it's coming from two different places.

How can I play the instrument live while I have a reverb plugin on it or hear it from the piano roll (also with effects on it) without hearing the sound doubled?
