Strange plugin name format:C--Program Files (x86)-VstPlugins-<filename>.dll

Since upgrading to 12.5 (59), when I go into the plugin manager and set a category for a favourite VSTi plugin, it ends up appearing in the menu and channel rack as "C--Program Files (x86)-VstPlugins-<filename>.dll".

Any ideas as to the cause and solution?
