Reopening -VST Classification Issue

I had to reinstall FL due to an issue with my PC. This issue is coming up again so I'd like to revisit it as I don't know what the fix was. Original post said:
Hey all, just recently updated to 12.5.1.

I rescanned all my plugins into the database, and while it found them all, it couldn't detect whether or not they were generators or effects, simply leaving a '?' in the 'Effect/Synth' classification.

Is there a fix for this?
Please help.
