IK Multimedia MODO BASS "component state wasn't restored"

I'm getting this error when opening up projects using MODO BASS. The plugin loads but resets to the default preset.

"...component state wasn't restored..."

I've only just got this plugin and this is happening right from the first time using it. I tested it with a couple of fresh projects too and had the same result.

Any ideas?
