HELP! Please! Edison not letting me drag and drop my highlighted sample!

Using FL studio 64bit 12.5.1 on a MacBook Pro. The version for Macs. all the time I use Edison to chop my samples, and once I want to drag and drop my highlighted section it just automatically shuts down FL. Then a pop up on my Mac pops saying that "FL Studio just unexpectedly shut-down" Please Help someone, and hope you guys are able to help me and reply to me soon. Thank You.
