Choppy Sounds in FL Studio

Hello, I'm having issues with FL Studio. I bought a new laptop because of this issue, but I'm getting choppy sounds when I make my projects. I've ran into this issue before and was able to fix it, but now I can't fix it and I've tried everything with the audio settings. And this is happening on my old laptop and my new laptop and I find it very strange for it to be happeniing on a new laptop that's built for lots of power. I really hope I can get this resolved, that way I can continue to work on my music. Thank you!
