edison transport control

Quick question. Is there a way to disable Edison from stealing focus of the transport control? When I setup Edison as a audio logger and I hit the spacebar to start the transport Edison playback is triggered instead of the main transport. I always have to make sure Edison does not have focus for this to work. I can give you a video if that is helpful. If it is not possible to do right now can this be added as a feature?
