Plugin could not be found

Dear all,

apologies if this has been successfully discussed in several threads before (I´ve seen a few, but not quite apt for my case), but that only means you can help me the faster. I for myself have gotten too tired and mad about this "Plugin could not be found" message. I am using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit v1709, and FL Studio 64-bit, version 12.5.0.59 before, now I´m trying 12.5.1.165.
Before long I thought my OS might have become messed up simply by long-term use, but after a blue screen (inaccessible boot device, yippee ki-yay) on Friday, followed by an entirely FRESH install of Windows and FL Studio, I still experience this mostly annoying message "Plugin could not be found", whenever I try to load an x64 version of a plugin. Of ANY single Image-Line plugin, as it seems, be it a generator or an effect, be it 3X OSX or Harmor.
I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleaned up the registry, repeated everything, started as admin, executed the regcode, executed the authorization via the about page inside FL; I´m at my wits end.

Why? And more important: What to do?!?

Best
