Softube plugins slowing down FL20

I recently downloaded some demos of a few Softube plugins (Tape, Tsar-1, Spring Reverb, and Saturation knob), and any time I have four or more instances of any Softube plugins present in a project, FL20 slows down to a near halt. At first I thought the program was freezing and forcing me to terminate the process through the task manager, but task manager never reported the program as having stopped responding. Upon further inspection I found that even though it appeared the program had frozen, I was actually still able to issue commands albeit EXTREMELY slowly.

The program appears stable with up to three instances of a Softube plugin, but upon loading a fourth it starts to slow down significantly, and upon loading a fifth the program becomes nearly unresponsive. This behavior is only exhibited with Softube; I can load up to at least 10 instances any other publisher's plugin I was able to test, memory and processing power permitting.

I'm using the VST2 versions of the plugins (all 64 bit) on FL 20.0.4 on this machine:

CPU AMD FX-9590
RAM 16 GB DDR3
MOBO ASUS 970
HD Samsung 960 EVO m.2
