file search path settings

opened up project that was done originally in FL 7, with latest beta, before doing so had already added search path in file settings to include where the files could be found, but still after several tries the project opens up with all the "RED Channels" in step sequencer. any suggestions? all the files are showing up in browser but not in playlist
