plugin category not updating

Using 12.1.3 on both windows 7 and 10 64 bit. I'm having an issue with the plugin category. I read the manual. Did the deep scan from the file settings for the plugin manager. Everything worked fine. I added the plugins to my favorite list. But now the plugins I added show up as both generators and as effects even though the scan properly says which ones are effects and which ones are synths. This is an issue as all my plugins show up in all the menus regardless of its type. Just want to bring this to sometimes attention. On a side note I also wanted to make a suggestion. I'm not sure if this was done on purpose or not but when using the mixer in the compact mode the stereo separation, polarity and channel buttons go to the bottom of the mixer. Seems really weird that it just jumped to a completely different place. Please add an option for it to go back to the top.
