changing time of a group of selected notes in piano roll

when you're working in the piano roll and you select say, a dozen notes in a pattern and you want to change the time for every single note played (start time, duration) what do you do? i can only seem to bring up the "note properties dialog for only individual notes.

if this isn't possible in the current version 7. pleeeeease add it as a feature in version 8. i can't remember how many times i wanted to do this.
