PROBLEM with project file FLP

Hello; I have a problem with a project file .FLP, saved on FL STUDIO 7 XXL. I have saved project with name ''My M My 2.1"
When I have reopened FL, I have immediately noticed that the project didn't exist. When I have started manually looking for, and I have discovered that has saved not him to me as .flp but as an image. Do I now ask, is it possible to recover him/it?

Add a (dot) .flp to the end?
