Piano Roll Slide with other VST Instruments?

Hey everyone, I'm using Spectrasonics Omnisphere and Trilian inside FLStudio 10 and triggering them via the piano roll, which works amazing except for one thing. The "slide" tool doesn't seem to work. Am I overlooking something or is it simply not possible to use the slide with these VSTs?
