Dj Tech Mix Free Not working with Deckadance

I'm trying to get a Dj-Tech "Mix Free" to work with Deckadance v2.30, it seems to connect, when I drag a song into the window on the laptop, the mixer seems to respond (it displays the title in the appropriate window etc etc...)

However the mixer is not responding to anything I press, it is as if the signal is not getting sent back to the laptop when I press/move something?
