Dubble Trubble - More or less done - Dub

Inspired by Audio Warfare in this thread, I turned my attention to something a bit different. Now it's been a good 15 years since I regularly hung out with a guy who was a massive fan of reggae/dub, so my knowledge of the genre is a bit rusty.

That's where I'm hoping you can give me some pointers as to where to go next. What do you think of the rough idea so far? What needs improving? What sounds like bleurgh?

Edit: I've since updated the track quite a bit. I've added a whole bunch of stuff, and recorded some of the vox, both the guitars, the bass as well as added some synths. The rest of the OP follows for context. The soundcloud track will always have the latest version.

I'm assuming I still need some random heavily delayed sound effects that come in every now and then. Anything else I've forgotten?

The vocals are just various random phrases I recorded. But IIRC, I don't need much more than that, right? :)

Suggested reference tracks would be most appreciated too, as I don't know that many artists by name. Listened to a bit of King Tubby. One of those genres where I've heard a lot of music without knowing the track or artist.
