Ultima 7 is one of my favourite games ever and some of the music is very nice. You can play it on modern PC's using a simulator called 'Exult' and this lets you use OGG music so I thought it would be a good idea to remake some of the old GM MIDI music using modern instruments.
This started out as an 'exercise' in working out how to set up midi outs using a single multitimbral VST (IK Sampletank), and how to set up the audio outputs. (I'd never worked it out before)
Its ended up as mostly 1 instance of SampleTank (I own the Cinematik, Hip Hop, and Miroslav Philharmonik banks), but I added a couple of Directwaves that are using the free Sonatina Orchestra SFZ's, and some free IL Varazdin stuff.
