automation clip envelope for edison

I find Edison to be an extremely potent tool, and I'm thrilled to use it. However, I've been thinking for months about how Edison would be even better if it had an envelope like the automation clips used in the playlist. The prospective automation clip envelope would be able to drive automation in other parts of the studio, just as other controllers do ...such as peak controller, fruity formula controller, and automation clips. The unique advantage of an Edison automation clip envelope would be that it could drive "external events" (external to the Edison plugin) within the Edison plugin's FX channel, and modify nob settings of plugins which affect its audio-out, as it plays. Again, Edison is awesome, and I love using it... but I believe this enhancement would take it a quantum leap forward in terms of what it can do.
