Use more CPU
I just downloaded WINAVI Video Converter (It's a free download for the demo), and I noticed something which I believe would interest you: It used 100% of all my cores at the same time. I'm not sure how they managed to accomplish this, but I'd like to see you figure out how they did it so FL can take full advantage of the 8 cores on my system. Right now FL is generally bombing one core with excessive load, and sometimes it redlines & sputters rather than using other cores. I try to use bridged wherever I can, btw, but the point is that video converter software is basically pretty run of the mill... and it underscores that there is definitely a way to get more performance out of these multi core processors. If nothing else, I suggest contacting their tech team somehow, and begging or bribing them for an answer to how they achieved this.
