Better upgrade process

Right now, if I want to update FL Studio, I end up with a new installation of FL, which in turn leaves me with the version I had before.
It doesn't retain my project history, preferences, etc. All that ends up having to be manually reset. Kind of annoying. Updating the software directly would be ideal, instead of installing new instances of it whenever an upgrade is available.
