Step Sequencer addition

I personally think that the step sequencer could have some more usability with a few small additions. I think there should be a note duration slider, similar to the velocity sliders, so that if you have a long sample, you can ballpark how long it should be played instead of copying the sample, changing its length, and using 2 seperate audio clips to accomplish one purpose. I also think there should be a choice to use a sampler where there is less or more, depending on the setting, space between the pedals, so if you wanted an intricate drum loop, you would simply be able to have more pedals.
