Midi channel dropdown Piano roll

Could you give the option to have the 16 color palette stay open when you drop it down. Or lock in place open.

When you're using it all the time, it would be much nicer to always have it open.

Or, if you could make it a floating window above the piano roll, one could keep it right or left of the bars you're are working on at the time.

OR, the area right of "Velocity" on the piano roll -- have each one permanently accessible in a horizontal line. There is enough room to permanently locate all of them there.
