I suggest to place new marker to current "audio cursor" location instead of at the beginning of the view.
Plus, I think we should not have to name markers, a default name / number should be provided.
For example, we could hit the "M" key while listening and easily add markers at convenient locations. It's easy to come back to fine tune / rename things after!
