Change time signatures with time markers

It would be really nice to be able to change the number of beats the playlist and pattern clips use in a bar mid-project. Not a huge deal because I certainly can still write a track that changes between time signatures but it's annoying that this throws the program's bar count off, and the metronome can only be set to one of the time signatures at a time.
It would be nice to write a song with multiple time signatures in a way that doesn't feel like a hack.
