Sample end linked to midi note end... possible?

I don't know if this is feasible (never saw this anywhere, but let's try...).

The idea is to have a new Sampler/Piano roll feature that lets you place midi notes which are "aware" of where the sample ends. This for example could be really useful when dealing with reversed samples, which are soooo difficult to end aligned on the grid when played on the piano roll.

So a MIDI notes drawing mode, which draws notes long exactly as long as the whole sample length ( the higher in pitch, the smaller the notes, automatically), with the ability to snap the end of the note instead of the start.
This way any reversed sample would end always on grid, on whatever pitch.

I thought about that because doing this manually in the playlist requires a new unique sample for each different note (pitch) you want to play, manual alignment and so many resources and time consumed.

I'm sure that this feature could help for many other scenarios (vocals, drum loops, fx, whatever...) and would be something new, never seen before... Think about how many new interesting ideas could arise from a similar feature. I'm already tripping :P

Any comment is really appreciated

Thank you.
