Not sure how much use this would be in common songwriting, but for using Gross Beat in a performance setting, this would be quite helpful. Currently, if you have a Gross Beat holding on a pattern and you change the tempo, it drops the loop. With the Realtime stretching algorithms like in the Sampler though, it seems plausible that it could keep the loop playing and stuttering as tempo changes.
Again, I'm not sure how difficult this would be to implement, but it would be nice for transitioning between tracks or looping things in general.
