Just a plugin that splits the frequency bands it gets fed into 3 bands and is able to output them separately.
I have a few patcher presets that do exactly that, but i don't feel its the easiest and or most elegant solution.
Just a way to decide how many frequency band outputs you want and then a few knobs to decide the frequency that they get split at.
Something the way the multiband compressor handles it would be fine too i guess.
Added bonus for multiple grading of how it gets split, from engineers filter level to a soft roll off on both sides.
But this has been a kind of a bane for me, maybe even multiple out for the side and mids of these frequency bands. I have about 8 patcher presets just for me to be able to quickly split bands, and often end up having up to 3 patcher patches inside of each other just to be able to process some things independently.
And don't get me started on the nightmare of wiring the control surface knobs from one patcher instance to the upper level.
Band Splitter plugin.
