Increase/decrease velocity for single note

This is very similar to this thread: http://forum.image-line.com/viewtopic.p ... 0&t=171473, but slightly different in that is would be nice to be able to increase velocity of a single note. Think brass holding a single note starting soft and finishing strong and loud. It can kind of be imitated with volume automation, but velocity control during a single note would be better.
