New Playlist feature: "Clip subtraction/sum" (for any kind of clip)

Hi eveyone. Here's the idea:

What about the ability to subtract portions of a clip by comparing it to another?

Here's a visual example:

FROM THIS

TO THIS
SUBTRACT RESULT.png
The green clip has been compared to the purple (purple?) and all overlapping sections has been deleted.

This idea could be extended also for summing: so once you compare the two, the first gets cut in the same way as the second. (See my last post for visual example)

Such feature could work for any kind of clip: you could compare two audio clips, but also subtract two automation clips, or a pattern clip and an audio clip!!
This would help a lot when creating a dialogue between two (or more) sounds (subtract), it would speed up things when for example you want to layer two sounds and you want them both playing at the same time (sum), it would also avoid any possible overlapping sound, mixing multiple different automations of the same parameter, etc...
it would definitely speed up the workflow... a lot! :D

What do you think?

Thank you
