Channel and pattern combined channel rack
Why don't you create an alternate way of viewing the channel rack. Where you get a scroll-able list of all your patterns but only the channels containing midi or audio information is displayed under any given pattern. This would make this alternate channel rack view more manageable, because all the empty channels would be hidden. Its tedious to go between the patterns to find what you need. Maybe this is available already?
