Just an idea I had.
I really like the effect to have a brief pause before a drop or Chorus, just that moment of tension. Especially with progressive genres.
Now, if I want to keep grid alignment I usually use a Skip marker, leave the pause open and then skip to the nearest start again.
Would it be possible to add a pause marker?
One that would pause for an amount of time, probably synced to the current tempo?
If I had a "pause for" marker that I could set to whatever time I need it to pause,
for example, 2 4 5 6 beats, I could save all that wasted space.
Nothing major, but just an annoyance.
Probably only useful in 2 scenarios though.
1.Either as I want, to create empty space for tension and contrast
or 2. if I want to create an empty space to fill in in a different DAW or later if I have stemmed out my track for sorting or render or freeze tracks to use them again in a different project in FL or Edison.
