Hi as a way to speed up some things here are few more suggestions.
1. Allow Ctrl C and Ctrl V for copying and pasting midi between instruments (instrument rack and playlist)
2. Allow adding new instrument when dragging it onto a midi pattern in playlist (this will create new pattern with that midi clip assigned to the new instrument)
3. Make Unique is automatic with some special selecting a midi clip in the playlist or new tool selector at the top next to pencil (no right click make unique every time) Maybe holding shift+Ctrl and dragging the pattern over can make it unique or something or..
holding shift + double clicking opens piano roll to a new pattern (it should display pattern name as well), once the midi notes are edited - that particular clip is now a new clip (unique) - Maybe the piano roll can highlight which instruments have midi data from the drop down picker at the top of the piano roll ? Or maybe change the instrument drop down selector menu to tabs and these can display note data sort of like the new mini piano roll viewer? Just to indicate that certain channels have data or highlight them with a glowing color or something?
