Currently the behavior is the following:
1. mute layer channel then mutes its children
2. solo layer channel then it solos only layer
What would be correct is if when do solo a layer channel, its children follows them.
Similar pattern can be found on playlist (with groups), and mixer (routing).
I really don't know if this is a bug or just by design but soloing the layer instrument without its children, makes no sense.
